This is achieved through a strict daily schedule, 24 hour supervision, structured education, becoming physically fit through exercise and good nutrition, and self-esteem building through group discussion, responsibility, and seminar. Thayer Learnig Center will teach your teen to be respectful of you, their superiors, and themselves. They will leave Thayer Learning Center’s boot camp a more responsible teen who makes better life choices.
Thayer Learning Center Boot Camp Academics
During Thayer Learning Center’s sumer boot camp program , students work on a basic skills review. This helps students review fundamental skills in math, english, and science. This not only helps students when they return to their coursework in the fall, but it also allows them to catch up on some basic skills they may be lacking. Should you decide to enroll your student at Thayer Learning Center’s year round program, your child will continue their studies with Penn Foster, a fully accredited independent study program. This program allows each student to work at their own pace to achieve their academic goals.

Trouble maker – A person who habitually makes trouble for others; especially one who incites others to quarrel, rebel, etc. This was what I was before my arrival at Thayer Learning Center. I thought my parents lived to make my life miserable. I would always try to run away from my problems, but I would always end up back home. The more and more I hung out with my friends, the more and more I hated my parents…Until one day I was picked up from the busy streets to have this opportunity to change at Thayer Learning Center.
I went through my ups and downs here at Thayer Learning Center. But all that really matters right now is that right now I am at the top and this time I plan to stay where I am- with my head up high, proud, respectful, honest, and confident.
I would like to thank my parents for believing in me, and doing what was best for me…I would like to thank the Thayer Learning Center staff and friends that helped me, and last but not least God for giving me this wonderful life, and a great family. I’m proud to be a Thayer Learning Center graduate.
