Teen Disorders: Defiance Disorder
Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) is a psychiatric disorder characterized by two different sets of problems: aggressiveness and a tendency to purposefully bother and irritate others. The disturbance in behavior causes clinically significant impairment in social, academic, or occupational functioning.
The articles in this section relate specifically to ODD. If you need specific help dealing with a defiant teenager, please call the Parent Help Center any time at 1-866-826-8990.
